In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant at LifeShare, you'll be responsible for a variety of essential tasks including:
Financial Close-out: Assisting in the periodic close-out of financial activities and related entities, including LifeShare Foundation.
This involves tasks such as depreciation schedules, bank reconciliations, and expense account review.
Annual Events Support: Providing assistance with annual events such as Medicare cost report preparation, financial independent audits, 401K audits, and operating budget preparation.
Periodic Duties: Completing various periodic duties including processing manual checks, accounts payable invoice payments, recording payroll and benefit activity, and preparing monthly reports to support financial statements.
Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other members of the Finance Department and all departments across the organization to ensure smooth operations and support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with a focus on accounting.
CPA a plus
Preferably three years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and familiarity with most Accounting Software.
Knowledge in Great Plains, Prophix, and Kwik Tag a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with all departments.
Detail-oriented and task-focused mindset.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Maintains professionalism in all interactions.
