OK Department of Veterans Affairs 2132 NE 36th St Oklahoma City, OK 73111 Salary up to $50,000 based on education and experience.
Basic Purpose Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving professional level work in managing, coordinating or directing a major phase of a comprehensive or specialized operating program, providing staff services in various management areas, direction of a major operating division, program, unit, or functional area, or similar responsibilities.
This may include serving as an operating program manager assigned administrative, staff, or program responsibilities, coordination, promotion, and improvement of programs, providing services in the areas of formulating agency policies or operating procedures, preparing agency budgets, fiscal management, human resources administration, physical plant operations, or other management functions, supervising specialized agency services, performing highly technical managerial or administrative support duties for executive level positions, or directing and coordinating volunteer or educational programs, and other comparable responsibilities.

Typical Functions Provide administrative program support to the Construction Programs Administrator in managing and coordinating agency-wide Capital Projects, construction and renovation, Capital Improvement Planning, environmental and energy efficiency.
Assist with federal grants administrator.
Assist with tracking project costs including maintaining log of proposals, change orders, and monthly payment applications.
Assist program administrator to ensure deadlines are met; quality control of construction and coordination of requirements with architects, engineers, and facility administrators.
Assist with ensuring compliance with Davis-Bacon Act on federally funded projects including the tracking changes with wage determinations, submission of certified payroll reports, and requests for additional job classifications.
Assist with review of internal and external reports, assist with letters and other forms of communication for department.
Assist with the organizing and maintaining of project record documents through project completions including transferring them to other facilities for records management.
Assist with performing minor building maintenance tasks as well as contracted building maintenance vendors as required.
Serve as a point of contact for ODVA facilities for the project management (Unifier System).
Track and maintain project request database to ensure completion of projects.
Add project requests for ODVA facilities.
Provide assistance to the Maintenance and Fire & Safety departments at ODVA facilities with life safety documents and reports.
Provide continuous support and information to supervisor of time off, schedule changes, training and/or travel, unit activities.
Education and Experience Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree and one year of professional or technical administrative* experience in business or public administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
## *Technical administrative experience would include highly complex clerical work gained under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager.

Ability is required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; to establish and develop training programs; to exercise good judgment in analyzing situations and making decisions; and to organize and present facts and opinions.
