* *POSITION SUMMARY* The Community Program Specialist is responsible for supporting community program initiatives.
The Specialist is responsible for supporting girls and volunteer participation through collaboration with schools, community partner agencies and other sites to provide no barrier Girl Scouting to all.
The Community Program Specialist is actively involved in grant management and supports the achievement of funding deliverables.
They encourage Community Program Troops to participate in product sales activities and are responsible for implementing a plan for their involvement.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* · Implements agreements with community partners and program sites.
· Implements program schedules.
· Gathers and provides curriculum materials, supplies and needed resources to paid and volunteer staff involved in direct service to girls.
· Provides programming support when paid or volunteer staff are unable to attend.
· Works with cross-functional team to implement innovative strategies to ensure the effective support of paid and volunteer staff to ensure a consistent, high-quality Girl Scout experience.
· Promotes council-wide implementation of curriculum initiatives as requested to meet grant requirements, as appropriate.
· Identifies, monitors and provides support for problem solving and conflict resolution in a timely manner.
· Interprets the Girl Scout Leadership Experience philosophy and the council’s policies, procedures and standards and supports paid and volunteer staff/partners appropriately.
· Optimizes use of technology to support customer service for paid and volunteer staff.
· Responds appropriately to all inquiries, related to Community Troop activities, by email, phone, or in person within 48 hours.
· Distributes materials, information, etc.
to ensure that girls are aware of programming opportunities, including awards and recognitions, special events, camp opportunities, etc.
· Keeps current on product program information and supports training and messaging that is offered to community troops as requested by the Product Sales Team.
· Implements plans to engage community troops in product sales activities.
· Ensures that outcome assessments are completed in accordance with council goals for all activities.
· Performs data entry into database to track program outcomes.
· Responsible for developing and maintaining up-to-date standard operating procedures for assigned roles.
· Works collaboratively with volunteer staff and oversees the work of volunteer staff as needed.
· Actively participates in the development of environments that foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and access through words, actions, and attitude.

*ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS* · Clearance of background check and drug screen.
· Valid Oklahoma Driver’s license.
· Access to reliable transportation.
