Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team.
As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
Your role will involve providing age-appropriate care, implementing educational activities, and ensuring the well-being of each child.
Duties:
- Provide attentive care to children ranging from infants to preschool-aged
- Create a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes learning and development
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including crafts, games, and educational exercises
- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any specific needs or instructions
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare or related field preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to create a structured classroom environment
- Experience working with toddlers, infants, or special education is a plus
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience and compassion when working with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations or needs of the children
- Basic understanding of classroom management techniques
