**We are Growing!** As a Medical Switchboard Operator you will provide essential communication services to support a wide range of medical services.
Our medical switchboard operators ensure that incoming calls are answered in a professional and timely manner and that patients, visitors, and staff are connected to the right person or department quickly and accurately.
You will also be responsible for entering patient data into the system, recording messages, and providing basic information about the organization.
Additionally, you will have an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and help build strong relationships.
Job Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls on the medical switchboard promptly and politely Greet callers in a professional manner Direct calls to the appropriate departments/individuals Take messages and relay them to the appropriate individuals Maintain a comprehensive list of internal contacts and their contact information Monitor call volume and adjust staffing levels as needed Provide basic information about services and policies Record detailed notes for each call Monitor and respond to inquiries on the switchboard Troubleshoot basic technical issues Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain a clean and organized workspace Perform other duties as assigned Candidate must be available to work Monday- Friday 8am- 430pm.
Job Requirements: 2 Years medical receptionist experience or 2 Years call center experience.
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Ability to multitask and stay organized Comfortable working with computers Ability to handle high stress and pressure Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to operate multiple phone lines Ability to provide accurate information Ability to effectively transfer calls Ability to follow instructions Ability to work well in a team environment Basic medical knowledge Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits: Medical/ Dental/ Vision, and ancillary plans/ Holiday pay/ PTO/ 401k plan.
