Responsibilities
Christina D.
Stone & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, is seeking an attorney with 1-6 years of civil defense litigation experience to join our Oklahoma City, OK office.
Candidates must be well versed in Oklahoma’s civil procedure and discovery rules, trial procedure, and must be able to handle motion practice and jury and trials.
Competitive candidates must have superior oral advocacy and writing skills, a strong teamwork orientation, and excellent work ethic.
Competitive candidates will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage a caseload.
We enjoy an active, busy, civil trial practice.
We provide a congenial, team-oriented, professional work environment with skilled support staff.
The selected candidate should plan to spend time working both in the office and from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement.
Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Must have a law degree from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
Must have an active law license to practice in Oklahoma and be a member in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar
Must have experience in civil litigation, preferably insurance defense
Must be knowledgeable of local and state discovery rules and trial procedures
Must have strong technological skills, including competency in Word, Outlook, and Lexis Nexis
Must be able to work in a paperless environment
