Built around the Lead Player (Okc)

Thanks for looking… Every good to great rock or dance band ive ever played has been built around the guitar player.
In this music genre if the guitar player cant carry the band it really didnt matter how good any one else was.
Im a bass player and i have had the privilege to have played with many good rock guitarist.
I took it for granted .
Because now a days ive found , those loud and proud guitar players have aged out of the system lol .
