From creation to production, we ensure our products are of the highest quality and made from materials that are built to l Job Title: Cell Coordinator Department: Tanks/Bases Reports To: Team Lead and/or Production Supervisor Supervises: N/A FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Date Reviewed: December 2023 Summary/Objectives: The primary function of the Cell Coordinator, under Team Leader/Production Supervisor supervision, is to lead employees, equitably delegate work assignments, and manage processes & functions within the areas of responsibility.
The Cell Coordinator will be knowledgeable of general manufacturing production processes and operations.
Cell Coordinators should understand the function and relationship of their activity/department to other parts of the Company, and strive to obtain cooperation and understanding with all other groups/departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Distribute assigned work or jobs within the cell or cells.
Will be required to fill in within assigned or other cell, as needed.
Oversee/Direct employees and activities within area of responsibility.
Utilize NetSuite (ERP system) to ensure accurate system information/reporting.
Assist Team Lead/Production Supervisor in resolving production issues within the area of responsibility.
Assist Team Lead/Production Supervisor with resolving employee issues and providing input in employee evaluations and/or disciplinary issues within the areas of responsibility.
Support and enforce all company policies, procedures, safety rules and principals of Lean Manufacturing/5S.
Recommend work changes and improvements related to layout of area, manpower, equipment, or materials usage for continuous improvement.
Work with other team members on production initiatives/projects assigned by Team Lead or Production Supervisor.
Be available as required by customer demand to work additional time (overtime) throughout the year.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Production Manager.
With assistance from the Team Leader, staff cell(s) up or down based on current demand.
Assist Team Lead in establishing daily goals for MDI boards.
Maintain and discuss MDI boards within respected cell or cells.
May be requested to rotate to other departments on a temporary or permanent basis.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and willing to make decisions.
Safety-focused Education and/or Experience: Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of leadership experience preferably in manufacturing/production environment; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Ability to read, understand and train others on drawings and work instructions.
Ability to organize departmental work assignments and multi-task.
Above average computer skills are necessary.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Must be a good communicator (written and verbal) and able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Certification of forklift operation and other material moving equipment may be required.
Preferred: Previous experience in manufacturing/production Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00AM – 3:30PM.
