We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer focusing on fabrication to join our team.
The successful candidate will be key in designing and developing motorized pergolas for the commercial hospitality and restaurant industry and high-end residential units.
They will be responsible for creating detailed production drawings, collaborating with clients and contractors, and ensuring the reliability and quality of our custom pergola solutions.
Responsibilities:
Designed and developed motorized pergolas tailored for the commercial hospitality and restaurant industry and high-end residential units.
Create detailed production drawings and specifications for motorized pergola units, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of each client segment.
Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project needs and deliver custom pergola solutions that exceed expectations.
Thoroughly test and validate motorized components to ensure reliability, durability, and seamless operation in various environments.
Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to installation and maintenance.
Collaborate with the design team to create CAD drawings and plans for pergolas and other structures.
Utilize engineering principles to ensure structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to construction and installation.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, OR equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and fabrication.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.
g.
, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and a strong understanding of production drawing standards.
Extensive hands-on experience in machining, welding, and fabrication techniques, focusing on precision and quality.
Proven track record of successfully delivering custom solutions for the commercial hospitality, restaurant, and high-end residential sectors.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and site visits (approximately 10% travel).

Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience and qualifications.
